You are invited to join Historic Charleston Foundation for a harbor cruise aboard The Princess for a different view of the Union Pier Terminal and to hear updates about the redevelopment plans of this significant project from HCF staff.
Admission is free but donations are strongly encouraged to help provide resources for HCF's work. Your financial gifts power HCF to continue to pursue and advocate for a community-led vision for this consequential moment in Charleston’s future.
Funds are used to consult with experts in a variety of fields including urban design, traffic management, storm water mitigation, and other important issues surrounding this proposal. Your gifts also help underwrite communication efforts to make this complicated process more comprehensible and to broaden our reach and messaging in the community. For example, the fee for artist renderings can cost up to $250 an hour; a full page advertisement in a local newspaper begins at $1,800; and distribution of a printed leaflet runs approximately $400 per occurrence.
Each gift will assist HCF in our efforts to impact a favorable outcome in the redevelopment of the Union Pier Terminal.
